Pair Press helps people stop guessing which shoes are truly becoming comfortable. It keeps a private record of shoes, wear sessions, experiments such as insoles or lacing changes, and everyday notes about heel rub, toe pressure, arch pressure, slipping, and fatigue.

What the app helps with

Catalog your pairs

Add sneakers, boots, loafers, sandals, running shoes, or other pairs with size, category, notes, favorite status, and an optional local photo.

Log wear sessions

Record duration, surface type, socks, weather notes, overall comfort, and specific problem zones after a walk, workday, or short break-in session.

Track experiments

Keep experiments tied to one pair, such as new insoles, different lacing, padding, thicker socks, care routines, or short home break-in attempts.

A clear personal history

Comfort trends

Pair Press can show which pairs are stable, improving, or still rough by using only your own logged comfort scores and pressure-zone notes.

No medical claims

The app is not a medical tool and does not diagnose foot issues. It simply organizes your personal shoe-wearing experience.

Works offline

Pair Press is designed as a fully offline utility with no account system, no backend, no synchronization, and no required internet connection.

Local data

App records are stored locally through UserDefaults and Codable structures. Shoe photos are kept as files in the app sandbox, with only file paths saved in the models.
